Some fun with the scanner

This is an image that I used for one of my uni projects where I had do design a book jacket for Joseph Heller's book 'Catch 22'. Here I focused on the idea of trying to escape. I decided to think outside of the box as it were, so i messed around with the scanner, then finished the image off on photoshop. I like.

Fruity

These images are from a uni project were we had do design some labels for fruit smoothies. I didnt like the final labels but I did like the images of the fruit that I produced. For these images I used acrylic inks and water soluble neopastels.

More old work!

This is the image I designed for the book jacket of Carlos Ruiz Zafon's book 'The Shadow of the Wind' during a uni project. It is an image of the young Julian Carax, one of the main characters in the novel. This is by far one of the best books I have ever read. For this image I used acrylic inks.

Hello!

First post!

woooooooooooop!

Well, i've been out of the game for nearly 9 months so I have no new work to post. So I thought I would start by posting some of my old work before I start on the new. These images are from a uni project were I had to design images for a book jacket for Joseph Heller's book titled 'Catch 22'. The linework was created using fine line markers and the colour was applied on photoshop.
